I been using it for a few months, and I can tell you that it works great. The app has native support for Intel and Silicon M1 processors. Right now we have OneDrive that we can use to sync files and folders and on top of that we can use it to backup our Documents and Desktop. If we look back few years, OneDrive app was not reliable at all. It comes with Windows, and the only thing we need to do is to sign in and make sure we sync/backup files and folders we actually want.īut, what about Mac users? Well, situation is changing. I had just been Rick-Enrolled into using OneDrive as a Progressive Web App (PWA). But the new window didn’t look like a browser window and it had a OneDrive icon on my taskbar. But instead, a new window opened and loaded the same OneDrive window I had opened in my web browser. I was expecting to be taken to a landing page that told me about the new OneDrive desktop app, with a download link somewhere to try it. Then what is this new OneDrive desktop app?
